Every country should work on resolution proposals for their comments, that is change proposals for the specification. Unfortunately in most nations the standard committees are not working on the resolution of the national comments or the comments at large.

What can you do

Ask your National Standard body and ensure that your national committee works on resolutions for the comments because there is absolutely no reason to trust ECMA to provide resolutions. Further there are many other issues such as the patent models that need thoughtful review by standard experts.

You can also have a look at the comments, contribute to the debate on http://www.dis29500.org and suggest your own resolutions for the comments or help to organize them. The standard body in New Zealand is called SNZ, so it is this comment set of SNZ.
